2026 already has a stacked lineup of insane movies, from the runaway indie success Obsession to the mind-bending Backrooms, all with their own flavor of onscreen thrill and terror. Yet none of them quite gripped audiences the way Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim’s You Can See Everything did when its trailer first dropped; the creepy staredown between Fielder and the infamous Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes was almost inescapable online.
If, like me, you can no longer wait to watch this absolutely insane roller coaster ride inside the mind of the biggest con artist in modern American history, I have good news: you can finally “see everything” in Philippine cinemas starting November 18.
Comedian Nathan Fielder is widely known for deadpan humor and outrageous experiments. Yet his full-feature directorial debut somehow manages to one-up everything he’s ever done before when it’s revealed that this time, he’s inside the home of tech fraud Elizabeth Holmes and her husband, Billy Evans, days before she was imprisoned.
For the uninitiated, Holmes founded the tech company Theranos, whose proprietary blood testing technology promised a revolution in medical diagnosis. Donning a turtleneck and a completely fake baritone voice, Holmes became the youngest self-made female billionaire with an estimated net worth of $4.5 billion before she was exposed and her tower of lies came crashing down, ending in a 10-year and 3-month federal prison sentence. She has been in prison for the past three years.
The most interesting part about the premise is that, of all people, the couple invited Fielder to stay with them and film a documentary. If the trailer was any indication, our little comedian also looked like he bit off more than he could chew, which is crazy for someone who ran a multi-year parenting simulation using child actors and secretly spent over two years training to become a licensed commercial pilot, all for the bit.
What could have possibly broken a man like that? We won’t have to wait long to find out, as You Can See Everything is slated for a November 18 release in cinemas nationwide.
