Another highlight this year is that all eight restaurants that previously received one Michelin star kept their distinction, setting the benchmark and proving that chefs are not only excellent but consistent, too.

Among these establishments-turned institutions are Asador Alfonso in Cavite, where Chef Chele Gonzalez serves Spanish-accented grilled meats; Celera in Makati, a contemporary Asian restaurant led by Chefs Nicco Santos and Quenee Vilar; Gallery by Chele in Taguig, also under Gonzalez; and Hapag in Makati under Chefs John Kevin Navoa and Raul Dolatre III.

Also on the list are Inatô in Makati, known for intimate counter dining under Chef JP Cruz; Kása Palma in Makati, where wood-fired global flavors meet French technique from Chef Aaron Isip; Linamnam in Parañaque, where Chef Don Patrick Baldosano reinvents Filipino cuisine through fermentation and aging; and Toyo Eatery in Makati, a modern Filipino restaurant rooted in everyday soul from Chef Jordy Navarra.

The Philippines is no longer just a newcomer at the Michelin table discussion. With ten starred restaurants and an ever-growing list of awardees, restaurants are making their gastronomic case worldwide.
